The need for answers has never been greater than now.
Predictability is a thing of the past, and vision and leadership are more critical than ever. The Passenger Terminal EXPO conferences, workshops and seminars have remained ‘the’ source for answers related to the future of the passenger terminal industry. For more than 10 years, the top leaders in the industry and related industries have convened at Passenger Terminal EXPO to outline their visions and planning for the future.
Initial conference planning is closely attuned to the industry and the economy as a whole. The realities of today dictate leaner budgets and staffing. It is with this in mind that we have consolidated the 2009 India programme to include all travel industry leaders, airports, airlines and railways; we have retained the content you have come to rely on from the conference and added to it to with workshops and free-to-attend seminars.
We are in the process of inviting speakers, updating the website, and continually working to increase the relevance and value to our attendees.
Call for Papers (AIRPORT)
India is expecting a sharp increase (5-10% pa) in air traffic, and as most airports in India are inadequate for handling this increase, huge challenges and opportunities will be evident. India is hosting the Commonwealth Games in 2010; upgrading airport infrastructure assumes prime importance.
A particular focus will be made on operational readiness, best practices for strategic and business management, capacity planning and the environment.
Speakers will examine the future outlook for airport development worldwide and compare their experience to developments in the India airport sector. They will provide case studies and insight into some of the world’s most recent and complex airport terminal development projects.
New and specially designed for the Passenger Terminal EXPO event in India will be a number of development-oriented workshops introduced to enable highly detailed discussions to take place on specialist and technical subjects.
Call for Papers (RAIL)
Speakers will examine the future outlook for railway station design, development and operations worldwide. They will provide case studies and insight into some of the world’s most recent and complex railway station development projects.
An international line-up of high-calibre speakers from railway station operators, designers, consultants and suppliers will focus on the latest concepts being applied to current and future railway stations; architecture, interior design, technology, ticketing, security, safety, revenue maximisation, commercialisation, real estate, development, customer service and more.
